Dr. Sean Mctaggart

Chiropractor

Dr. Sean McTaggart grew up in San Mateo, CA, and attended Junipero Serra High School, where he competed on the baseball, soccer, and track and field teams. He then went on to study and complete his bachelor of Science in Kinesiology at Sonoma State University. As for his post graduate education, Dr. Sean attended the 3 ½ year program at Palmer College of Chiropractic in San Jose, CA, which allowed Dr. Sean to simultaneously go to school and stop by Peak Performance Chiropractic on his way home to continue learning with Dr. Bill Tarr, his protégé. After working alongside Dr. Bill for his 2 year post-doctorate education, Dr. Sean eventually took over as owner of Peak Performance Chiropractic on January 1st 2021.
Dr. Sean is looking to become increasingly involved in the Menlo park community, including the schools and many local businesses.

Story time: I hurt my back when I was 11 years old on a “corner kick” in soccer where I was undercut, causing a funky landing, I was unable to move and play the sports I loved. After going to several doctors appointment resulting in no relief at all other than being told to “take some Motrin”, I ended up making the best decision of my life. I headed to Peak Performance Chiropractic and met Dr. Bill for the first time, who was actually a childhood friend of my fathers growing up, and he changed my life. After years of playing sports, getting injured, and coming back to Peak Performance for regular adjustments, I decided at the age of 17 that I was in fact going to become a chiropractor. Dr. Bill was the best mentor that one can ask for, and for the next 10+ years he guided me on the journey to fulfilling my destiny to help others find relief from their pain and discomfort.

I am looking to carry on the Peak Performance Chiropractic tradition that has been in Menlo Park for more than 30 years and plan to continue the legacy for so many more years to come.
